ISSUE SIX AVAILABLE NOW

post (1)

Six is ripe with poetry, boasting beautiful verse from E.H. Brogan, Samantha Ardoin, Sarah Stanton, Steve Tomasko, T.J. O’Donnell, Sara Sherr, and Kevin Heaton, plus four weird and wonderful works of prose fiction from Nancy Hightower, Dan Holbrow, Douglas Penick, and L. Niall Murphy. It’s been a dream to compile, and we really hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we have. We think it’s a bit of gem, ourselves.

With this launch, Corvus undergoes some changes: Issue Six offers additional interior art from cover artist Cassidy Rae Limbach, and SimCity inspired collagist J. Powers Bowman, a feature we hope to be able to continue in future issues (so keep submitting that art!). You’ll no longer find contributor bios at the bottom of each work, but can instead find them by clicking the link at the bottom right of each page. You can also expect to see some changes to the website in the near future.

Additionally: Corvus is now on twitter! You can connect with us there @corvusmagazine. We’re still waiting to hear back from our potential twitter artist, so we might be looking a bit bare for now – but then, we think the unhatched egg quite fits the launch of a brand new bird in the family.

And, well, that’s enough introduction. Good writing awaits. Go and enjoy it. We’d love to hear what you think. We’d love it even more if you sent some of your work along to us, sometime, perhaps, if you feel like it, on a rainy day, or a sunny day, or a day when you don’t have much else to do.

Thanks, as always, to our readers, to our contributors, to the Other Editors.
