Mark your calendars, email your friends, recommend us to strangers! We’re very proud of our inaugural issue, and all of the wonderful fiction and poetry which we are privileged to be able to bring to you. We hope you’ll enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
If you submitted and haven’t heard back from us yet, your work is being considered for the second issue, due for release February 1st 2012.
The longer we’ve had your story or poem, the higher the likelihood that we really like it, and are holding onto it until we can find a place for it (our first issue is seventeen stories and poems long, and it was hard to get it down to that!). Straight rejections will usually be sent within a couple of days. If we’ve had your sub for a while and you’d like to withdraw it from consideration, you are of course free to do so, but remember that we don’t require any exclusive rights, so provided that your work isn’t accepted somewhere which does, you’re free to do whatever you want with it while you wait to hear from us.
Due to the high volume of submissions we receive on a weekly basis, and the unfortunate necessity of employment and study, it may take us some time to get back to you with our final decision; but we are working as quickly as we can.
